This Thing Called Grief, hosted by Lori Peters, offers thoughtful conversations about what grief actually looks like in real life. I appreciate the way Lori normalizes grief and how she includes personal stories that pair well with her professional experience as a licensed grief counselor.

One part of this podcast I find especially meaningful is a series of five episodes dedicated to common myths about grief. These conversations challenge many of the assumptions we carry about timelines, “moving on,” and what support is supposed to look like. I think these episodes are helpful not only for those who are grieving, but for everyone who wants to better understand and support someone walking through loss.

If you’ve listened, I’d love to hear what resonated with you. Share your thoughts in the comments below.
